    Missing Hotfixes

Window Updates installed the latest update this morning, and I ran Belarc Advisor afterward. It reported two missing updates as shown here:

Hotfix Id Severity Description (click to see security bulletin)
Q5017500 Important Microsoft security update (KB5017500)
Q5019351 Important Microsoft security update (KB5019351)

As indicated in my Specs, after this morning's update I'm now on Win 10 21H2 Build 19044.2251. I do not know why these updates
didn't download automatically, but I do I need to take any actions at this time?( I'm still awaiting the update to Win 10 22H2 on this computer although my laptop upgraded to that version on November 2.) Thanks for any help you can offer!

Please note that details of Windows Updates with download links are given in an article per update in the News section of tenforums, which is where Try3 quoted those from. You are free to view those at any time.

You can see the dates on which they were released.

KB5017500 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 21H2
    was released on Sept. 13.

( I'm still awaiting the update to Win 10 22H2 on this computer although my laptop upgraded to that version on November 2.)
    - this doesn't quite make sense..

Please ensure you don't have target feature update enabled (which prevents upgrades beyond the build you select being offered). (Tutorial available in the searchable Tutorial section if you need more on that).

22H2 is a minor upgrade- it's unlikely you will notice any functional difference.

Thank you for the replies! I do not have target feature update enabled, and I think I will continue to wait for 22H2 to be offered. It has not been offered to my husband's Win 10 computer either, but I see "Win 11 22H2 is on its way" to my computer. I have no interest in moving to Win 11 any time soon; I have it on another laptop and I am less than pleased with the interface. As for the missing updates mentioned in my first post, after rebooting Belarc now reports only one missing, KB 5019351. I don't pretend to understand that, either!

KB 5019351 is for .NET 6.0

To see which version of .NET framework you have installed is not so obvious. See
Find Dot NET Version using PowerShell - Prajwal.org

    I have:
    Missing Hotfixes-1.jpg

    - as you can see I don't have v6.

If you don't, that update is irrelevant.

To see the version as above: run Powershell as admin and copy and paste this and press 'Enter':
    Get-ChildItem 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP' -Recurse | Get-ItemProperty -Name version -EA 0 | Where { $_.PSChildName -Match '^(?!S)\p{L}'} | Select PSChildName, version

Thank you, dalchina! I ran the Find DOT Net version, and my version is identical to your own. My conclusion is that I do not need the "missing" KG 5019351, either!

And my conclusion is that Belarc Advisor results are unreliable.
Windows update would eventually have obtained the necessary update for you.

    Thanks for the rep,

    Welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]
