Disable Auto Updates Group Policy - Managing Video Driver Updates?

I know Brink and Tairiku (experts I'm sure) have contributed to a solved thread "Turn Off Windows Updates" but here I am with an MBA in Finance and still somewhat confused based on what I'm trying to do.

It's all about the Nvidia drivers. I have a working W10 driver (355.80) which was just released and thanks to posts on various forums and all the previous W10 drivers that didn't work I waited to upgrade to W10 until now. New video drivers are released frequently, at least with every new game launch. It is sometimes the case that a new driver breaks something fixed in a previous driver, often specific to hardware. I want to be able to decide whether I will try the new driver and the next and the next. Sometimes I will try it out, sometimes I won't want to based on feedback.

First question is when I select 2 in group policy "notify to download and notify to install" I get that red sentence "some settings are managed by your organization". Am I supposed to get that message? I'm the only user and the admin.

If it is working and I sometime soon see an Nvidia driver, that group policy edit wouldn't let me stop the driver from installing, would it? It just tells me it will be installed. Not sure of the value of this as I can look at the Nvidia control panel to see if a new driver has been installed.

Then there is "wushowhide". Does that only allow me to hide a video driver that has already been installed or can I prevent the driver from being installed, and the next and next Nvidia driver if I so choose?

I will quote Tairiku's handle "be nice to all please" and will add patience please, two qualities I most often see on this forum. I'm just not sure these "fixes" are giving me what I need, stopping all future video driver installs if I so choose.
