Windows 10 update err: 0x80070005 how to fix it location Australia

when update windows 10 this morning:
    • Security Update for Lync 2010 X64 (KB3075593).
and Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081436).
after both update downloaded and installed, i was asked to re-boot my laptop. but i have got this err message:

We're having trouble restarting to finish the install. Try again in a little while. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: (0x80070005)

so after searching the website, and tried few suggestions, still unable to restart. at the moment, i cannot proceed any update nor i can re-boot the pc. but i can shutdown, and boot. however, the err msg is still there.

I had the same problem and found a solution.
My Users folder is not located on SystemDrive .
    1. Download and save on the desktop the stand-alone installer of the update
    2. Boot PC to a command prompt by going to the new control panel (Setting)-> Update and Security->Recovery-> Restart Now->Troubleshoot-> Advanced Options->Command Prompt
    3. Use RD to delete the symbolic link of C:\Users (which points to the actual location of Users folder)
    4. Use xcopy to copy Users folder from where-ever it is to C:\
    5. Restart PC
    6. Apply update
    7. Restart PC
    8. Boot PC to a command prompt by going to the new control panel (Setting)-> Update and Security->Recovery-> Restart Now->Troubleshoot-> Advanced Options->Command Prompt
    9. Use xcopy to copy Users folder from C:\ to the drive on which it used to be.
    10. RD /S /Q C:\Users
    11. mklink /j C:\Users D:\Users (replace D: with the drive letter on which Users is located
    12. Restart PC
    13. Enjoy your updated system while considering to migrate to Linux
