Just received this since yesterday: 2019-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4512501) - Error 0x80070002
It reminds me of last years (October 2018) update that was halted. Should I just download the update from Microsoft directly? Which of these downloads would it be? I'm running Win10 Home x64.

Thanks for the information. I went through all the steps and had a good load, no issues. Now, I did a recheck and I'm getting: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903 - Error 0x80070002
And have you put 0x80070002 into Google?
Try:
WU troubleshooter in Settings
Reset Windows 10
Check at least 30Gb free on C:
Disconnect unnecessary peripherals
Disable/uninstall 3rd party security software
Try again
If that fails, download the iso (Microsoft media creation tool - Google)
Preparations as above
Mount the iso, Run setup.exe
Choose not to accept updates as part of the procedure (you can disconnect the internet.
Note any error in detail.
Post log files as appropriate (zipped), and a full screen screenshot of your partitions using e.g. Minitool Partition Wizard (not Disk Management).

Yes. I have Googled it before so its kind of hit or miss. I did do a full PC clean up, which included clearing the Download folder in Software Distribution. I'm not sure what the Time Clock has to do with it, but my Clock is working correctly. After a 2nd attempt to download the latest updates everything updated without any issues. I guess its just Win10 being fickle Win10.

Good news.. now it's time to consolidate that and make sure you can recover to a good state should sthg go wrong.
Create a new base disk image on external storage using e.g. Macrium Reflect (free) so even if your disk fails or becomes corrupt you can recover, and thereafter periodically update your image file set.
