Rebuilt a Win8.0 Notebook then updated to 8.1. There were over 100 updates to do, quite normal. Of those updates there was a list of 19 Optional updates but only 1 was automatically checked to be installed and that was for Win10. To get all the updates installed the one for Win10 had to be unchecked as it was the first to start downloading, obviously would take awhile to get the 2.7GB. Seems Microsoft is becoming more aggressive in getting Win10 on computers.

Windows 10 is their answer to the on-line community.
Apple makes you share nearly anything.
Google is tracking your every move
Android is collecting all your data.
Microsoft had not many options.... They have found the easiest way of collecting data and profiling.
Make sure you snif your ports and check ANYTHING that is uploaded.
Switch off all possible sharing that is automatically switched on in Windows 10 (and that give permission to share when accepting the agreement) and you might keep a tiny bit of privacy
