Is there a tutorial I could follow because maybe i'm not clean installing right...
It's difficult to do a step-by-step because we don't have enough information about your set-up.

FIRST, you'll want to put the USB set up drive that you've created into a USB slot.
Boot into the BIOS of your computer.
    Look for 'boot options'.
Select the USB flash drive and move it up to first place.
    Save changes and exit.

    Good luck!

I've tried clean installing windows 10 again but there is no option to skip the product key part.
Clean install is simple and all you have to do is spot the small print that allows you to install without the product key being entered. The key you have is correct and is a general upgrade one.
When it finally gets into windows 10 you will no doubt have the "notifications" icon (bottom right) active and this should have an 'enter the activation code' amongst a number of other issues. Enter the number you have and it will update and activate.
I am not saying my installation went smoothly as initially it was an upgrade from 8.1 (which in turn was from 8 and 7) and all manner of problems manifested themselves so decided to wipe and do the clean install. Needless to say everything was backup on the 28th July
