Make sure to log onto your MS account as it yet another way for your computer to be activated.

If one initially signs in as first user on a fresh install of any OS with a MS Account, the OS truncates the name
in a messy way. johndoe@msn.com your username becomes j~b3889^&)()*)crapola.
Whereas if you initially sign in as just John, not using a MS Account and then CHANGE to johndoe@msn.com
it keeps your username as John. I like it that way.
So prior to phone activating I shall do that second stage process and change from local to my MS Account.

Then in a month or two, no rush, upgrade at that point in time.
    Thanks!

There is no evidence that using a MS Account has anything to do with the activation process. The activation is tied to the hardware, not the account.

Same problem here. I think I selected the wrong ISO though. Can I do another clean install or do I need to start again with the upgrade process. If the product key is stored on the BIOS I guess I can do as many clean installs I liked without a key.
