Get insider builds - Incorrect parameter

This popped up after I d/l 10158, under settings, advanced options, notice that my microsoft account requires attention to get insider builds, FIX ME says that I could not sign in, parameter is incorrect. I am downloading 10159 at present. What parameter is not correct. Tx

10159 is now up and running. Further research within MS reveals that this problem can be caused by not being activated. I checked, the build is activated? Additionally, it was suggested to add another MS account, even to re-enter your own to clear up this problem. I did exactly that and the problem has now gone away. "I am set to receive insider builds" even thought I just updated to 10159 while the error was still there.

I had a message about needing to sign in with my Microsoft account. I did not do this as I prefer to use a local account.
Now when I run 'Check for updates' I get a pop up with:

    "Get Insider builds
    Insider build settings needs attention."

Looking, I have found that Windows is not activated. When I try to activate I get a message in red saying:

"Windows can't activate. Try again later."

How do I get Windows 10 to activate?

Well I have succeeded in doing a manual activation by entering "slui 4"

Now when I run 'Check for Updates' I get a disappearing pop up with:

    "Get Insider Builds
    Insider build settings need attention"

If I select 'Fix me' under 'Get Insider Builds" it wants me to log on with an MS account.
I have an MS account but I don't want to use this for normal log on.

How do I get any upgrades?
