I have tried to activate them lots (and lots) of times, without success.
I have only installed 10159 as an update. If I installed it over an activated 10158, no key was ever asked for.

I installed 10158 twice. The first time, I installed it an an update over 10074, which I installed over an activated Win 8.1. (10130 failed to detect the 10158 update at Windows Update, for me.) The second time, I restored 8.1 and updated it directly to 10158. Neither time did I need a key.

When I clean installed 10147, I needed to use of of the keys posted at this site to get it to activate. I have not used the new keys for 10158 or 10159, but based on past performance, I'd expect the key to work.

I speculate that the more recent builds (10147, 10158, 10159) function like the RTM build will: if installed as an update over an activated qualifying OS, no key will be needed. I wait for information as to whether a new key will ever be made available to legitimate upgraders, to permit Win10 to be re-installed without having to re-install the qualifying older OS first.

(I'll be impressed if MS publishes an official way to do that. They did not do that for Windows 8, although there are simple work-arounds to allow Win 8.1 to be installed directly onto a blank drive, and activated with a Windows 8 upgrade key.)

    10158 v 10159 logon difference.
Background: 2 systems running 10130 with local account logon.
system 1: downloaded and installed 10158 Tuesday night.
At first logon after installation got request to change to an MS account - password/pin.
Expected as posts had warned this was about to happen, so entered account + pin.
(How can they claim that this is more secure than a mixed mode 12 char password beats me)

System 2 picked up 10159 and downloaded direct on Wednesday, no 10158 in between.
Installed no nag to change and still booting on a local account and no nags since.

only problem of note so far 101059 has decided my NAS server does not exist on the network

@Joanne, Make sure you verify your MSA account, and that the MSA account is the same one you registered with the insider program.

The more I use 10159 the more I like it.

I first updated from 58 to 59. Then I created an ISO using the ESD to ISO method. I put the image on Rufus and did a clean install. It asked for a key twice during installation but you are able to bypass those and get installed. I was then able to activate using the key[s] provided here, keys for 58 and 59 are the same [Pro edition for me].

Not sure what is improved since 10158 though. Has anyone got the full release notes?
For me it finally corected my 2 video card (different cards) duel monitor problem that made it impossible to use both cards, now with 10159 they are working perfectly.

Okay, so I have finally managed to run build 10159, as well.

I performed a clean install using the ISO I already had - and not an update from build 10130. Too bored to wait for the upgrade to arrive through Windows Update, I clean installed it. The installation went well and, of course, the activation key worked this time, so now I am running it. I use my verified MS Insider account, as I always do.

Office 2016 Preview works well. I will install the rest of my software, too.

One thing remains, and I have observed this also the last time I run 10159[*] : during shutdown or restart there is always a program preventing the computer from proceeding. I usually "shutdown or restart anyway", other times it proceeds by itself after a couple of seconds. In overall these actions require some time, longer than (what feels) normal.
[*] I'd like to remind that a couple of days ago I had 10159 running. It came via 10158 though, which came via that leaked build, and finally sfc /scannow, as well as DISM, were giving me errors so I decided to go clean.

Happy that it works! I'm gonna keep it until the next official ISO.

    Thank you.

Unticking Use small icons in Taskbar properties does show the date.

The 'problem' is .... I don't like the larger icons on Taskbar and.... and .... the date showed in previous builds when Use small icons was selected.

This is regression between Windows 10 builds (not necessarily between Windows releases).

In other words, showing the date below the time was an improvement, IMO, over previous releases - the fact that the date only shows in 10.0.162 if larger icons are used on the Taskbar is regression.

Who knows, maybe the font was changed and the date is just pushed beyond the Taksbar 'window' threshold.
