I'll be upgrading our laptop and my backup rig to RTM I think.
I like playing with operating systems, as they evolve, so I will stay on the Insider program (on a test multibooting desktop machine), but I have no real love for Windows 8.1, so I will probably upgrade that on my laptop within the first year after July 29th.
I'll let you guys in the fast ring be the Guinea Pigs for Insider - I'll stay on the slow track!
I will get the RTM. If there is a way to continue with the insider program after I have made a iso, I will.
I'll likely upgrade all of my PC's to the RTM via the free upgarde. Then switch one back to the Insider preview after that just to see what comes down the pipeline. I may even roll another one back to Windows 8.1. All depends on whether all my hardware works or not. I have issues with ccc and Displaylink on my laptop. They are two separate issues one not related to the other. They are deal breakers for me.
I'll be dual booting Windows 10 RTM (Upgrade form 8.1) and Windows Insider Builds (Current Windows 10 install)
For the fun of it and since I also have another 3 working machines that I can use running 7 & 8.1, I will just stay as an Insider while breaking-in my new rig. :)
It's really a moot point with me. I have an MSDN subscription so I can basically run what ever I want when I want. I'll do the upgrade anyway as a testing endeavor so I can see first hand how it works, or doesn't work.
I think I'll be gradually updating all "production" computers in my household, starting from those running W8.1. My own laptop will probably multi-boot into W7, W10 RTM and W10 IP for a few months until I decide that W10 is good enough to replace W7. My wife's laptop would probably be GWXed from W7 sometime towards the end of the free window, as she's a conservative user.
I'll definitely stay an insider, either as multi-boot or at least on a VM.
