There is no comparison between the Insider version of W10 and the fully released to the public version.

Everything appears to work on the release version whereas for example desktop apps along with other many other features do not work on the Insider version.

Obviously M$ does not want pirated versions to take full advantage of all its applications.
Yeah, and for the most part, the Insider versions have been stacked on top of each other; a couple of times or even 7 or 8 times . . . I haven't done a clean installation of Build 10240 Insider version yet, but I have seen stuff on the Released version I haven't seen on Build 10240.

That's interesting, everything on my Insiders version is working just fine.

Have you downloaded the public release version, if not how can you compare them?

I have both versions on the same computer and as already stated one is working perfectly while there are still problems and left out features on the insider W10 version.

Desktop apps such as news, sport, finance etc, are not working, certain pages on edge either stutter or lock solid, I could mention more but think it best that you try comparing for yourself.

My version of insider is the latest updated from the previous clean installed version, and have done a Scannow and a Dism to confirm a clean bill of health.

I think it depends a lot on whether the Insider version has been "updated" rather than clean installed. I find that after so many "updates" that Windows 10 gets wonky.
