Get Control Panel back in Power Menu (right click start button).

EDIT - there is a tutorial that shows how to do this as well.

Win+X Menu - Show Control Panel or Settings in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

As many will be aware, MS have replaced Control Panel with Settings when you right click on start button.

It is quite easy to reset back to Control Panel as this context menu is customisable.

The link below describes customisation in detail.

Basically the menu entries are all stored in your profile

Below is how it is setup in the release version 14393.

I simply went to same folder in 14946 and replaced all icons including the desktop .ini with the ones from 14393 above.

As you can see below - it now shows control panel, and opens up control panel instead.

I run Stardock's Start10 as a start menu replacement, and it shows Control Panel as it always has -- thanks for bringing this to my attention. Typing "Control" into the search box still brings it up, too.
    Thanks again,

Sure but even with start10 ,there is an option to use power menu on right click of start button. I can always pin an icon to start menu, use cortana etc. In time, even 3rd part menus will have to use settings once CP has gone.
