    Build 10122 needs improvement

    hi guys,

when hitting the Windows Logo one has to go to the left upper corner to get what one should get when hitting the left under corner.

That way you have what you want immediatly and apps is just above.

    I posted this in Feedback.

Other problem: when pinning something to the Start, tiles look blurry, also can only attach 2 tiles and one lost his pic.

you can see this here under. Same with the Itunes tile on the left.

    Strange

This feature was deliberately added to the full screen start menu because of user feedback. They're not going to take it away because of other user feedback.

And the icon issue is a known issue, mentioned in numerous threads on this forum already (I wish Brink would just sticky it so people would stop creating new threads about it).

Unless of course, you place your Taskbar at the top of your screen

Then you want everything up top .... This iteration of the menu is probably what MS will put out with the Current Branch release. Keep giving feedback on how you'd like to see Windows evolve - that's the purpose of this entire exercise.
They'll get real world feedback and things might change in the Q3 drop.

The blurry icons is a bug - they will fix it. I think it's fairly simple in the app definition (fit position, no padding).

Well Mystere, do not know if it will make any difference for MS, BUT i gave them feedback on the Startscreen as was in 8.1 and i am sure that did not make any difference either, but right now the Startscreen is BACK.

So "kudos" for MS on this one and maybe i get what i ask for......

I think that problem with blurry icons/tiles for non-Apps is because they were made to cover whole tile but were not made in right resolution. In 10125 they are back to smaller size on tile itself so icons themselves look sharper.

Yes I notice these things too.

jeffrys - do you mean you want the hamburger menu expanded already when you just click the windows emblem/start icon?

I want that too and also sent a feedback. But couldn't quite understand if this is what you meant?
I think having super easy access to Settings/Power/All Apps etc is very important and I hate going right up to top left of screen as well.

hah HAMBURGER,, nice one. Yes you click on the Windows logo on the left under and you get the expansion already, so if you want the All Apps you just click on it right above, no need to hit the left under corner and than the left upper corner. Microsoft lost me here.

Also i prefer the full expansion screen instead of the older smaller one but that is me.

Right now i like Windows 10, which was not always the case. At a point i just wanted to go back to Win8.1, not any more.

Are you complaining about the placement, Jeffrys? Or do you mean you discovered this and gave feedback? At any rate, if you unlock the taskbar, you can drag it to the bottom, left, or right; wherever you want it. This is interesting and I had it on the left side but right now I have it at the top. It works fine wherever I put it. Will I leave it that way? Probably not, but I will leave it awhile at every point except on the right; that just ain't feelin' right. :)

Yeah, Jeffrys, this is a "known issue" by TenForums membership, although in reading the Microsoft blog, I didn't find it listed; Disclaimer: The blog I read could have been updated unbeknownst to me and may well include this in the known issues.

Help me if I got this wrong. Trying to select all apps. Select Windows button, lower left then select the "menu", upper left, then return to all apps button lower left. ?

#2. Have Office 2007 installed as a test, cannot pin any office items to start menu.
