That wouldn't work, seems the update also took out the USB drivers when I did a power-off reboot.

And for the CPU question it's an Intel Core 2 Duo in a Dell Inspiron 530S computer, never any problems since starting with Insider Preview way back a couple of years ago when first offered it. Fortunately, I always run BETA/Test versions of an OS on its own machine, not on my production computers.
Thanks for the reply , Those Intel Core Duo platforms are decently stable IMO ,so is the one here . I run these test builds on a separate SSD boot drive in this PC in my specs and dual boot with the AU and AFIK the boot loader is on the AU anyway but Easy BCD is foolproof if you suddenly need it outside of a btmgr. edit or recovery start option .

Never can tell on these beta windows build OS they can work fine on one PC and not work on another and I've had that also and right now with 14905 being stuck on the slow ring Insider branch whereas others here in the forum are not are not .

Sounds like a good plan. Glad you have input options. So, menu items are live (clickable), just the text is invisible?
Right, they are there with the basic problem being I can't see what they are. I got Paint to open for the screenshot because I put its Tile in the same place on my Win10 Desktops and Notebooks [I use it every morning]. Looks like things are back to normal with 14905.

Good you managed through that menus. Already on 14905?

I have the same problem. I fixed it for now installing Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Fortunately the blank squares only affects Modern Apps or anything that uses XAML (Start Menu, Login Screen, Action Center...) so you still can open Device manager right clicking Star Menu button.

So far every affected PC's I've seen have in common an intel CPU without SSE4.x support and an intel GPU.

Can you please upvote on Feedback Hub so they can notice the problem?

Tried the link, chose the Hub, window opened then immediately closed. Guess I'll not be able to report it.

No, Edge comes up with a full blue-only screen then closes.

That's on build 14905, right? Anyway Redstone2 builds are really buggy right now, better wait for next build. I'm only interested in bash improvements for now anyway.

It's also a problem on Version 1607 Build 14393.105 and using Edge, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
