    Account Picture

On the Anniversary update, many including myself no longer have an account picture when logging in.
However, I notice that my Insider version now has the account picture when logging in. Was there an update that fixed it in the insider version? The account picture was missing like it is in the Anniversary update.

I notice the same thing today. I just re-installed the AU build and the picture is not there but it's is with the insider build.

Could be a patch but who knows at this stage. With luck the issue will be resolved with the AU in a CU update some time soon.

I thought it was just me. :) It use to be just the opposite.

What I find odd is that the primary OS has this issue and the insider doesn't. I would have expected that it would have been the other way around.

Before the 8/02 AU, it was just the opposite. RTM was just fine with the account picture. Insider would get the cute Doughboy. All of the last Insider (14393) was slid out into AU to the public....along with the Doughboy!

Then 14901 came out, around the 11th, 12th.... and Insider had the account pic back. I think you posted something, Jeff, about doing a quick check and it was back in Insider.

Even with the last cumulative to Release Preview (14393.82), Doughboy is still there, but Insider is fine.

Couple of weeks+ till next PT, so maybe then for AU.

My account picture is there if I log in manually with my PIN. If I set my PC up to auto log me in I get the generic what ever it is instead. Running the AU not the IP.

I see the latest Insider version has my picture. I don't think auto logon or entering the password makes any difference. I'm set to auto logon both my regular Win 10 and the Preview versions.

Well known bugs - waiting for MS to fix.
