Windows 10 Pinned start items messed up in build 10122-99b3dc89d1ca4652c2e6988b0a547037.jpgMy start menu icons are MASSIVELY up-scaled in build 10122, how can I revert this back to normal? (the tiles are the same size but the icons are massive now)

Enviouz, this is a bug just in build 10122. Desktops apps pinned to Start are blurry with low resolution.

If it is fixed in 10122 now, why isn't there a patch?

It's fixed in build 10125, and not 10122. I don't think Microsoft will release a special patch for an older build since it's already fixed in the next release.

topgun reported it fixed in 125.But, the icons are now the same as the previous release - crisp yes, but still tiny. Soooo fixed is in the eye of the beholder

Unlike production code, there aren't really patches to development code (Technical Preview releases). You just have to live with the wonky code until development delivers the next release to the inner ring of MS. Once it passes the first two (I think there are two) rings, it goes out to the FAST ring where people who enjoy (or at least don't mind) bleeding edge technology can update their machines.

Eventually, the release might find it's way to the slow ring which will be a more stable build of the same version. Not all releases make it to the SLOW ring though.

The next release we see might be a few notches higher than the previous ...(074 -> 122).
