    Windows 10 Update 15019 Fullscreen Bug - not working

    Hey I'm using a Nvidia GTX 1070 with the newest driver 378.49WHQL.

    Since updating to the Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 15019, many games won't run in Fullscreen anymore. They are all minimzed. Only thing that it will work again, is to use the borderless window mode.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Even by using other drivers the problem can not be fixed.

    need some tips

    It may be the video adapter, both of my IP machines function with the F11 key for Full screen or toggle back to normal but they have Radeon 2400 HD video cards. My production/main computer with RTM Build 14393.693 works correctly with an nVidia GeForce GT710 card.

    Yeah but as I mentioned I use insider
    Preview Build. What you mean video adapter? So it's a Windows Build bug ?

    It is the Insider Preview I responded to, I have it on 2 computers.

    Video adapter or graphics adapter or video card or graphics card mean either of 2 things, adapter is built onto the motherboard, cannot be changed and card is added to the motherboard and can be changed.

    It may be a build bug or it may be the drivers/software for the video.

    I can confirm this. I've been having the same problem since I updated to Build 15019. I'm using an RX 480 with the latest AMD Crimson drivers.

    In my case games don't minimize. They launch in fullscreen but my mouse pointer stays on the screen. If I click anywhere, the game is minimized. The only soluiton I've found so far is to switch to Borderless window mode.

    Come to think of it, two new features of this build deal with fullscreen apps - "Improved support for Game Bar in fullscreen apps" and "Game Mode". Did you enable either of these features in the Settings app? I have both disabled but I've been wondering if enabling these features would help.

    @raveya @kkind @Berton

    Take a look at this post by @waltc over in the News thread. Has to do with DPI settings and games and such. Maybe Walt could give some pointers here. Worth a look and/or try. TC
