New Discoveries is just what it says. If you discover something new in an Insider Build, post it. It may or may not be brand new, but by the same token, there will always be those who haven't seen or heard of it yet.

No real rules, but if you please, maybe follow this format?

Build 14328 - Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell:

Right-Click Taskbar>click Settings and turn on "Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell in the menu when I right-click the start button or press Windows key+X"
And now, this brings up another question:

With the ability of PowerShell to replace the Command Prompt, does it follow that maybe PowerShell itself will replace the CommandPrompt? IOW, is it possible that the Command Prompt will be no more?

I think it means replace command prompt with Powershell on the WinX menu only - I have doubts if they will bother to replace the cmd prompt. On 32-bit Windows 10, alongside Powershell.exe and Cmd.exe, the old DOS COMMAND.COM still lurks...

I hope you're right, Fafhrd. It's a scary thought that the Command Prompt could disappear and I'd be forced to use PowerShell.

PowerShell is powerful, no doubt about it, but so much more complicated than Command. :)

Command.com doesn't start from Run any more. It doesn't even exist as a file.
    Oooops, it's cmd.exe now.

No. Right click on Start and then either Command Prompt or Command Prompt (Admin).

    Edit: Neither does PowerShell.

Edit #2: Oh, yes it do!

I right clicked on Start>Run and typed cmd and up popped the above!

So, I guess it does start from Run.

No, I have been replacing command prompt with Windows PowerShell for so long I already forgot about it.
CMD.EXE from Run brings it up. Looks like I'm still stuck at DOS times, lol. Betrays may age eh ?

Ummm, we ain't speakin' 'bout age!

Microsoft is changing things so quickly that none of us can keep up no matter how "young" we are.

Microsoft does seem to be able to get to something in a variety of ways. :)
