    Incorrect Ethernet connection in notifications

I recently decided to move my main laptop to fast ring. It has decided to go to 14295 (not sure why that build only) and I've noticed that while everything works fine, the icon for WiFi has disappeared to be replaced with a "Ethernet not connected". I don't have an Ethernet port and Wifi (while not shown) works fine.

    Anyone else see that?

    That's a known issue in 14291 and 14295. Quote from https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/03/25/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-14295-for-pc-and-mobile/:

    • If you use Hyper-V and have a Virtual Switch configured for your network adapter, you may see an error indicator (red-colored “X”) for your network adapter in the notification area of your taskbar. The error indicator is incorrect and your network adapter should continue to work just fine.

    Thanks @Kari.

I had a feeling it was (or must be) a known issue - even if it was trivial. I just couldn't find the correct note - I remembered some Hyper-V VM guests getting issues in connectivity with insider builds but this was not the case here.

I'll mark this as solved and thanks again. I really do appreciate it.
