I Can't Believe They Haven't Released New Build

    Hi All,
It looks as though Microsoft is taking their old sweet time in releasing the next preview build for us to try, I don't know about anyone else..but I'm starting to get impatient . Could it be due to the 'rumor' of Sparta going to be included ?? I'm thinking the next build release is still too 'buggy' for us to try. You would think with Microsoft as big a company as it is..it wouldn't take so long for the developer's of windows 10 to get a new release ready.

You can get 10036 and kick the tires on that one, It does work but it is buggy and that's why MS didn't drop that build. I would like to see a new build soon but it has to be a bit less buggy and have Spartan.

I don't think they are in a really big hurry ,that would bring the full release to early for 4th quarter selling ,mainly Christmas ,plus they got to get it right this time ,remember windows 8

I thought that the issues with Win8 were not due to it being released too soon but that that it had metro.

From what I have read about the leaked version it's definitely not ready for MS to release. The way it's going I doubt Windows 10 will be going RTM by June.

I've been playing around with 10036 and yes.. it is a bit buggy.. but it does work. As for June.. I agree.. MS would have to pull of a miracle to hit that mark/goal. I suspect that late 3q or early 4q is likely.

Right - 8.1 is a good system. And 8 was not rejected because it was buggy (that was Vista), it was rejected because of the culture change. If 10 would be buggy on top of that, it would get a very slow acceptance because up to now it looks like 8.2.

    Hi there

Seems to be working fine on my system -- I did an UPDATE from build 9926 -- With these sorts of builds I think an UPDATE is better as brand new drivers etc won't probably be available (especially on leaked builds) so using an UPDATE is far more likely to succeed.

At RTM time I'll probably go for a NEW install but I think in the mean time success is far more likely using UPDATES.

    Cheers

For 10036 I did a clean install on a separate partition in a VM. It did work just fine but it just seemed a bit herky jerky at times. I did run a few apps/programs and they seemed to work fine. OH on thing I did notice was the video streaming was acting erratic at times an it was broken up as well.

While a nice build to play with it really is not ready for price time testing/usage. IMO.
