    File Explorer Build 9926

    Ha all

I've been playing with the new latest build and I like what I see.

One thing that annoys me so far is that in File Explorer the two drives that I have are listed in reverse order, D above C.

Does anyone know if this is changeable, I can't find a way myself.

    Thanks for any help

    Hi

I'm not seeing that, all of my drives and partitions show in order, C:\ through J:\.
I don't know what would cause that to happen.

I can't find anyone else who's having this problem, but you could post a screen shot of Disk Management and people could take a look at it.

The OP could be viewing the 'secondary' list:

    That's how it looks

Plug in a flash drive and this happens

For whatever reason, External drivers are shown in the "outer" group in alphabetical order based on volume label, while the ones in My PC are listed in Alphabetical Drive letter order.

I think there's a way to hide the "outer" drives if it bothers you that much, and leave just the inner ones.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\DelegateFold ers

Delete the subkey under 'DelegateFolders' but maybe export it first, just in case!

I've seen no repercussions on desktop PC.

That's brilliant thanks, I didn't realise they were listed in alphabetical order.
