I've been having the same difficulty, but with an additional circumstance. When installing from the 14295 iso, the installation requests I provide a Product Key. I have a Product Key from Windows 7 and one currently set for this installation of Windows 10.11099. Neither of them are accepted as valad Product Keys.

I wonder why the installation requests a Product Key. I've seen numerous indications, like above which suggest a Product Key is not required.

    The current installation is activated.

.................I wonder why the installation requests a Product Key.............................

My answer is : you did NOT download the correct Win 10 ISO.
Did you select the same Language and the same bit-version your computer is now running ?

What is your Insider Preview build # ?
In the search box, type winver > Enter.
Please post a screenshot of it.

Assuming you have downloaded the correct ISO file.......
Right click at the iso file > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
    Installation will begin.
    product key is not required.
    Activation will be automatic.

Hi David. Thank you for the reply.

I can't seem to attach/upload an image. Following your instructions, winver indicates, "Version 1511 (OS Build 11099.1000) / ...Windows 10 Home Insider Preview operating system... for the installed version.

The iso version I've downloaded from Microsoft shows as Windows10_InsiderPreview_CoreSingleLanguage_x64_en-us_14295.1000

The only thing I can think of that might be different is the downloaded version is Single Language(en) and the previous may not have been Single Language.

You need to select the same Language as the one your computer is now using.

Assuming the problem is selecting Single language.
Go back to the same download link and download again. This time do not select Single language.
    Then try to install again.
