    Build 10000 rumoured

    Hi there

I've seen a few references to a Build 10000 in various places. Seems we could be getting a NEW build very soon.

    Well I'm up for it.

BTW anybody here who knows how Ms works -- is there any methodology into how they choose the feedback from users to incorporate in their next build or reject. Do they actually have some USERS rather than purely technical people on the decision making panels. OK you have to have some technical people to determine if a suggestion is reasonably feasible to incorporate into the build but surely with a few USERS in the loop the sheer madness over the updated Start menu on build 9926 would have been avoided.

Nearly everybody I know has switched the default menu in 9926 back to the earlier build's version in 9879.

I'm looking forward to the next build --apparently the kernel has been renamed to the 10 series too.

    Cheers

Once again, the old start menu chestnut.
But. I think MS are paying attention to the feedback on the insider program, as a primary consideration. There is also quite a bit going on with the TechNet 10 and Technet preview forums, which I am sure gets their attention. The latter is shortly being merged into the Insider.
With respect to this, and other forums, apart from references pointed to posts, by other significant members, I doubt that MS are interested or concerned about comments on these help forums. Too much too cover on the peripherals.

Hopefully not or we would all still have XP.

I agree.. So far I like the direction that MS is taking with the new OS and the insider program. Is everyone going to get what they want..no, but I hope we get options so it makes as many people happy as possible.
