    Windows Insider build expires 7/15/2016

My insider build 10525 (as shown by winver) expires on 7/15/2016. What does this mean? Will I need to buy a license for $199 or whatever at that time?

I would upgrade to the most current version of the insider build, 10586.

The problem is I can't upgrade from 10525 to 10586. The update settings advanced settings show I'm on the Fast Track but it's grayed out. I haven't received any upgrades from Fast track since 10525 in fact. Since 10525 is activated you would think I could upgrade from the ISO which I presume is available. I could be that my "problem" is that I'm dual booting with openSUSE Tumbleweed but that's just a guess. In a few days I might try to recover by doing a fresh install from the recovery options - but if that doesn't work I'm just going to restore the system backup from my external drive until I can something out.

Hi there. The 10586 ISO will be released within a few days: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10586 for PC - Windows 10 Forums

If you are activated with digital rights then a fresh install of 10586 should end up likewise.

I'm not sure what "activated with digital rights" means in the Windows 10 context. This has got to be some new roadblock MS has added.
Mine only shows "activated". Guess I'm I second class citizen in the MS world.

Digital entitlement is a new method of activation in Windows 10 that doesn't require you to enter a product key

That is because you are on an older build, that "activated with a digital entitlement" line didn't used to be shown. Don't worry about it. You can check if you are permenantly activated by running slmgr /xpr from command prompt.

This link will not get you 10586 yet as it hasn't been released yet - it only has 10565.

When the 10586 is released you can download the ISO and use it to either upgrade or clean install as you wish.
