Questions Regarding Insider Builds & Editions

So I am guessing that most insiders are on Windows 10 Pro and have received Build 10565 by now.

There are 4 editions that I am aware of. Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education

Do Home and Education receive the 10565 update as well ?

I know Enterprise is kind of treated differently because of corporate volume licensing. And while Education also may involve volume licensing students are treated more as home users so Microsoft takes a much different approach with that version.

not 100% sure but I don't think Enterprise, Education are treated the same as home and pro ,when it come to being on a insider program , some thing tell me they are just trial versions , but I'm likely wrong. I cant even find the education version to download it, but I'm downloading the enterprise version now to try it ,give me something to do before the ball game come on

Education has similar features to Enterprise. Though most of those features are unnecessary for the average home user. And it is available free to active university/college students. Google onthehub/dreamspark (Microsoft owned website/program) for more information. And while you can create an account with an edu email address you will still not be able to download Windows 10 Education because you are then taken to a "university" web store that is only available to currently enrolled students. With that said, if you were an active student entitled to an Education product key , you could change product key (through activation settings) on a Pro 10565 Insider build to a valid Education product key and it will automatically upgrade you to Education on that build.

it looks like enterprise and education are the same download .installing enterprise I was offer option to put in education info ,I assume that's when it would have become win10 education, just a guess though
