New build 9860 - Start Menu text STILL not re-sizeable

    Hi there

Still have an issue with un-readable text on the new start menu -- also it's still not resizeable. Even on a laptop it's TOO small.

    Cheers

It's unlikely a change like that would happen in the short amount of time between the first release and the second. Such changes take time to implement and test before they get released.

In the meantime, it's been pointed out on NUMEROUS occasions here that you can change the DPI settings to get larger text... You can also use custom settings for this (At least you could in Windows 8, I haven't looked in 10.. i'm sure they're there somewhere)

Actually in the versions of 10 I am running, US 32 and 64 bit, UK 32 and 64 bit and on a real PC those options are fixed and greyed out unless you risk a blank screen with out of range and then without the correct default monitor setting you can adjust default to larger. As soon as you return to default resolution so does the text size even if set to larger. Rather like cracking a chestnut with a sledgehammer.
On a related note do you have to demean everyone with your replies? Jimbo has a valid point, I can't read the frigging text either at correct resolution on a LG 22" 16:10 monitor or 3. You would think they would fix that, even classic shell does not have the issue. If you compare classic shell to the default text size that is what M$ should be aiming for.
