There are new windows animations but I think most are under the hood fixes that may or may not show up depending on your system. I am using 10 as a pure desktop system. I have always liked no LOVED the Weather app and think the news app is OK, wish I could figure out how to change it to BBC news. Most other apps to me are MEH.

And KB3010668 fixes the 'sticky' svchost power request issue so sleep works as it should.

Yes I did notice that one; even on the VM it came through visibly.

I predict Windows 10 will be a failure... worse than 8/8.1

There is so little I like about this, I might install it if they pay me and throw in a shake and fries

Like I say (and I'm really not trying to be a downer on it), I prefer v8.1 with Start Menu 8 much more. I tried Classic Shell too and I really like it, so now I have to decide which one...lol.

"10" just isn't keeping my interest as of yet. And now knowing that April 15 is just the start of the Consumer Preview, it means there's still a awhile yet until the RTM release.

Just installed 9860 everything looks good so far, there was no error message on shutting down. Now I'd like to try it on my little Mac in Parallels.

Oh yeah, no beef, just Chicken.
My error on closing has gone as well, all appears fine and dandy. I am starting to love it.

Have you tried opening the Store to search, download, and install a BBC news app?

There are lots of news apps in the store, News Bento is good, you can add whatever news you like. I like the store, better than running around all over the net to find stuff, the Travel App is amazing and I like some of the games.
