The computer was just purchased a few months ago, that is why I am trying for him really hard. Its an Asus F555LA laptop it has a i5 processor with 8GB of ram. Well the computer isn't working good on windows 10 still for some reason I don't know why but for some reason on Windows 10 the cpu is always working hard, and the loading circle on the mouse is always going and kind of glitching. I don't know what is going on. Can I post a video on here to show you maybe?

To get a video on this site, you'd have to post it on YouTube and then link it here in the forum, so yes, it can be done, but it requires a bit of work.

Once an upgrade has completed, the OS will still be busy compressing installation files, indexing, etc...there is a lot that goes on in the background for a little while following an upgrade.

    - How long has the computer been "on" and running since the upgrade?
    - Have you installed any other programs yet (including browsers)?
    - Have you run Windows Update?
    - Have a look in Task Manager under the Details tab, sort by highest usage to lowest, and see what is using up all the CPU.

You are welcome to take a screenshot of that for us to see. BTW, you can use the SnippingTool.exe to take screenshots and upload them here, under advanced options when posting.

Did you also complete this step I mentioned earlier (below)? Sometimes Fast Startup interferes with things "settling in" initially. For instance, I had one laptop which would BSOD on every startup, recover and then boot into W10. Once I toggled the Fast Startup off and did some turn off/ turn on cycles, that BSOD went away and never returned.

Next, turn off Fast Startup, shutdown the computer and start it up again (NOT a reboot). Do it again once more. If everything seems fine, go ahead and enable Fast Startup again.

    Hi @Wynona.
Looking at the shot of the Intel Graphics Control Panel, I'm gonna make an educated guess here:

When the computer was upgraded to W10Pro, (even though it was not activated), the Intel software grabbed that upgrade info and now includes it in the Intel report panel, as shown in the photo. I'm gonna say, it's harmless, and probably the only way to get rid of that is to uninstall and reinstall the Intel Software. However, I think it's benign, and has absolutely nothing to do with the graphics driver itself.

    Do you agree?

Aside from that, he is activated, he set restore points, it's the correct version, and unless he finds any instability, I think he's good to go. And, school starts tomorrow for a lot of kids!

The only thing we're waiting on, is the result of sfc /scannow.
Sorry, I just re-read his post above and he indicates that there are no integrity violations from the scan results.
Having had my share of graphics card issues with AMD, I'm not inclined to agree that everything's OK from that standpoint. I keep seeing throughout the thread that Windows 10 is running "rough". I can't say it's graphics, nor can I say it's not.

Beginning of school is a bummer because I don't think he's going to be ready with this computer.

Shot in the dark . . . have you tried another mouse on the computer?

    @simrick

What do you think of having a clean installation of Windows 10 Home? After installing all updates?

Start->Settings->Update and Security->Check for Updates (for TCB to do)

@Wynona, a clean install or reset - he can do either one (they're basically the same, although with a clean install he would now have the option to wipe the disk first). But, I would still turn off Fast Startup first, shutdown/startup a couple of times, and see if that makes a difference. Perhaps do the reset or clean install afterwards?
