Windows 10 Build 10240 start menu lag issues nvidia

I just upgraded to Windows 10 10240 build, and I am experiencing lag issues when clicking the start menu. It doesn't come up smoothly compared to the previous builds. It's just the transitioning effect that looks slow. It takes a few seconds for me to type something in Cortana.

Is anyone else having this problem? I am using the latest windows 10 Nvidia drivers.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Never mind, I had to manually update the driver back to the ms default NVidia driver, and then back to the new one. For some reason, installing it through the software makes it lag.

You might want to try to uninstall & reinstall the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller . Windows seems to installing drivers without fully uninstalling the previous driver from the previous build.

I fixed it on my machine, without any driver changes. I hope it works for you, too!
