I think it's something to do with the activation of windows 10, seen a few reports on other websites that people with dodgy copies of windows are having to re-install their windows 7/8.1 because the preview of win10 is de-activating the counterfeit copies even though they are on dual boot systems, also when it goes mainstream (RTM), all those counterfeit copies of win7 and 8.1 will be de-activated and watermarked.
