I hope they come out with another preview upgrade before going live, it still needs some tweeking especially with drivers
BunnyJ,
I would normally agree with that statement. However, Microsoft is wanting a lot of people to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. Basically anything that installs on windows 7 and 8.1 should work on windows 10 including drivers. I am already aware some software and some hardware doesn't work.
Robinb9,
If you are having a driver issue put it in the feedback, someone will read it. Maybe the time another release comes out, the driver will be their.
I think it depends on if it's a bug with the driver or the OS. In the previous 2 builds I lost the ability to print from Firefox, Pale Moon and Thunderbird. I also got the blue screen crash when I used my capture card. All my problems were fixed when MS released build 9926.
I know a bunch of people that within the last 2 years have bought new machines with Win 7 because they wanted no part of 8 , 8.1 . Microsoft needs to remember that and should (if they did the right thing) offer an SP2 instead of not offering it because they did a second major upgrade to XP .
Many are furious that MS is already pushing 10.
I agree with Lee on this. MS has no incentive to put any effort into an SP2 for Win7. Right now Win10 is the big project on their plate and their goal is to merge as much as they can into one bundle, Win10. If someone likes Win7 stick with it.. you still have 5 years of support left. But don't expect anything more than that.

I am not wasting money and buying a new system, I just bought one in 2014. I still haven't decided to upgrade to 10, I am wanting for Microsoft legal to define the life cycle of a device and windows as a service. Once that is define, I will make my decision. I will be giving up a computer dvd player for windows 10. This may all be mute, depends on how much my internet goes up next month.
