    Hello,

the $Windows. folder --- YES. Was but gone now. I knew it was because I took "install.esd" souce foldes of YES. I had $Windows.~BT folder.
That is a good sign. I think it should download again now soon.

You can check in your registry and see if the key shows the same as the picture in this post:

10240 to 10525 - No Upgrade Offered, no errors.

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability

If so, your machine is ready. If Windows Update does not start downloading 10525 now, try a few reboots.
(Otherwise, we have a little trick to try and force it, which we can try later.)

When it does start downloading, remember to refresh the folder $Windows.~BT\Sources and grab the install.esd files as soon as Windows is 100% download, but before installing (do it immediately when it starts "preparing to install"). You can even disconnect from the internet once the download is 100%, to prevent the installation from taking the esd file away.

    Hello for All,

I have had Build 10525 on Windows update at this morning. So, I started download / install and an update was completed with NO ERROR at this time even McAfee, Chrome (x64), IObit Advanced System Care 8.1 and IObit Malware Fighter are installed in OS (Win 10 Build 10240) prior to update to build 10525.

Also, I had a chance to creat ISO file of build 10525 with Install.esd (grab it when "preparing to install" message is displayed with timing of 5% progress)

SO, I was confused what was last 2 to 3days problem(s). Is just because of a bad internet connection so some of files (s) is corrupted?

I will stay with what is now so would like to CLOSE THIS THREAD.

I will attache my registory ("HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability"9 to compair with WinInsiderBeta and difference is value of "EnablePreviewBuild". Pls see attached. Is any work around?-build-10525_regedit.jpg
Also, Will attach other for just informatiom. Is any work around?-build-10525-02.jpgIs any work around?-build-10525-03.jpgIs any work around?-build-10525-iso.jpgIs any work around?-build-10525.jpgIs any work around?-build-10525_sfc.jpg

That is good news @yufuru! Thank you for posting all the pictures for our information. And great job following all instructions!

As I said, I think the error code you initially got, refers to a bad/corrupt/incomplete file download, and that was confirmed when you were not able to make the ISO from the ESD.

Thanks for closing the thread, and enjoy Windows 10!
