    Using the Windows 10 RESET feature is just like doing a Clean Install.. But if you remove WinRE you disable that RESET Feature..

    I upgraded from 8.1 and I have 4 partitions. System which is 450 MB, Windows 925.75 GB, Recovery 450 MB, and another Recovery partition of 4.88 GB. There is no D: partition on the HDD, D: is my DVD drive and E: is my BluRay drive. F: is my second HDD that is used for backups.

    I think the 4.88 GB one is from my OEM installation of Windows 8 which is what the computer came with.

    that is because windows 10 did not over-write your windows 8.1 Winre recovery partition, it created it's own partition..
    and yes the 5GB partition is most surely the oem recovery image partition for windows 8.1
