Prior to the update to WIN 10, face sign-in worked great to log me in to the computer.
Updated to WIN 10 yesterday; lost ability to sign in by having the computer scan my face.
If I go to settings, there is no option for face sign in (even if I search and there is a result to Set Up Face Sign In it just takes me to Sign-in Options and, again, there is no option for face sign in. The camera does work, as I took a picture under Your Account).
Appreciate any help with this.

I have the same situation as Bob.
My Surface Pro, running Windows 8.1 Pro was updated to Win 10 last night.
No face sign-in available. :-(
Found these:
https://software.intel.com/en-us/realsense/devkit
"Facial scan. This sign-in requires special camera hardware with IR capabilities—so it can work in any lighting, including pitch black darkness—and cannot be retrofitted to existing webcams, or to Kinect. (I could see a future Kinect peripheral adding Windows Hello support.) Today, you pretty much need an Intel RealSense camera to sign-in with Windows Hello. This camera is shipping in a variety of PCs, including some from ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo. And you can order a developer kit directly from Intel for $100 if you want, though be aware that is has some onerous hardware requirements (such as needing a 4th generation or newer Intel Core processor). I recently did purchase this camera for Windows Hello testing."
Or more simply, this:
"This requires more than just the webcam on your PC or laptop, but a special array with Intel currently providing the hardware with its RealSense set ups. With a RealSense camera, either built in or an external one like the Intel developer kit we have, you'll be able to set up Windows Hello to log you in to your computer without touching a button, verify your identity or even complete purchases in the Store."

How do you find out if you have a web cam that will work? I know I have an IR device.
