Anything with large enough capacity should work.

4 gig is iffy depending on where you get your install media from. My MSDN ISO's won't fit on a 4 gig thumb drive, the Media Creation tool download will though, just. 8 gig or bigger is the way to go IMHO.

I can boot from an SD Card when inserted in one of these, http://www.buyapi.ca/product/sd-mmc-card-reader/ Even a Micro SD when its in an adapter. SD cards can be made read only with the flick of a witch too. I use diskpart to create my bootable thumb drives, others seem to prefer rufus. http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials...e-windows.html I use option two, works with SD cards too. My media is good for UEFI and legacy when done with diskpart.
Great. I'll look into this. This is the drive I was talking about:

    http://www.iogear.com/product/GFR204SD/

It can use micro sd or sd cards.

    Thanks

You won't know until you try it. It looks like it has more than one slot? Not sure if that's an issue or not. Depends on whether it needs drivers to work I guess.

    Hi there

What's a Television". I'm sure I saw on some old House decorating program some sort of Monster flat Black window hanging off a wall and totally looking ridiculous in the room it was situated in.

I'm sure in about 5 years time youngsters will be thinking about a "Television" in the same way as the old Flexowriter (paper tape teletype) or a Telex machine.

TV is dead these days --pity the broadcasters haven't realised it yet.

Once we get decent Holographic projection (currently being worked on) the idea of having to use an ugly monstrous piece of Black glass to hideously ruin your room will seem just absurd.

    Cheers

Yeah, and in the year 2000 we'll all be flying around in flying cars.

    ...oh, wait!

Careful what you wish for --some people have enough trouble moving in TWO dimensions --imagine what they would be like having to deal with THREE !!!. I'd hate to be in Air Traffic Control sorting out "Road" / "Air" Rage !!.

Was thinking it's for either one or the other and it would work, rather than having two slots for two cards. I'll try it out.

Back to the Future 2 lied to us. The movie stated that we'd have flying cars by 2015. LIES

Even without hacker interference it would be a disaster.

Did you guys see Charlie Miller's car hacking video?

Good thing I retired from that just over 20 years ago, don't know if I could keep up with it.
