Is there an echo in this thread, or am I hearing things?

Yes. Great addition to my point. Wonder if MS will let them make additions to the Settings app or do it another way such as in the app? Most of those apps have control settings in them, yes?
Yes they do have own controls except for Revo that just starts the program.

I'd like to know how many PCs are used for consumption vs work. That would be interesting to know.

Once upon a time stage illusionists would consume razorblades, lightbulbs and other hard to swallow objects. I've yet to see one of these entertainers manage a PC. Not even a Psion 3A. Maybe worth a mention to Penn and Teller.

If you mean domestic consumption vs. business use, I believe about 75% of Microsoft's Operating system units are in use in business, commercial, education, health, government/military and other organizational environments, and the rest for home use.

    OK, gotta ask the question!

    What is Windows RT????
It's Windows ported to run on ARM processors. It won't run your normal x86 coded programs, only Metro/Modern Apps. Still want it? You won't find an ISO for it, not easily anyway and not from any official Microsoft source. It's not even listed on MSDN. Not for me anyway. I do believe it's highly customized to the hardware its installed on. You don't install it like your normal version of windows.

Nah, probably don't want it. Only if it's painless and easy. :)

Two entirely different things. Windows RT is an older operating system for tablets.

Windows RT came out at the same time as Windows 8. So it's not *that* old. Windows 7 is older.

The ultimate device I'd like to see is a powerful eight-inch phablet with docking station. One device is all I'd need. :)
Small devices need a projector, like the rings in Zardoz.
