This is something you need to opt in and Onedrive should have a popup asking to set it up or you can click the icon and settings. From there you can choose a location for your Onedrive or it'll default to C:
    Thanks. :)

The Online Account I'm using is provided by my TAFE and it supposedly includes OneDrive storage.
When I click on the icon in File Explorer it shows a couple of folders and files.
    I didn't add them ( I haven't used it at TAFE either).

If it doesn't show up, you can always mount the 10240 ISO and run setup.exe to initiate the upgrade manually.
Still no upgrade for me after approx. 30 hours from my clean installation of build 10162. Perhaps it's worth mentioning that almost the entire day I am using my Windows 7 installation, and that I log in Windows 10 occasionally and I am checking for updates manually. Does this have any effect, you think?

So : "up to 24 hours to get upgraded" means up to 24 hours of using the OS or up to 24 hours since you've installed the OS?

I do not think there is an official 10240 ISO. Is there one, then?

If there's no official 10240 ISO there's no sense in using one downloaded from "somewhere" because I've performed this clean installation in order to do everything by-the-book, and follow the official and legitimate path. I am not a native English speaker but I hope you, all, understand me.

Finally, I will risk to express my opinion: I have started to believe that there is a serious bug in the Upgrade process.... It is like, IF you've managed to grab it when it is out, fine then - luck you! But if for some reason you've missed it as soon as the upgrade was out, then you might very well not get upgraded. Just my personal opinion according to my recent experience.

About that last statement, that is happening only now because of near release date for finished product, in the past there were two updates rings, Fast and Slow which received upgrades at different dates and ISO for same update/upgrade was released only at same time as when Slow ring got them.
I suspect/hope insiders will continue to get updates after full Windows release before those same updates go to "normal" users.

In the last hour I have tried the following :

    - Set it to the Slow ring, signed out and signed back in and checked for updates.
    - Set it back to the Fast ring, singed out then back in and checked for updates.
    - Rebooted the computer, checked on the Fast ring, restarted the Windows Update service from the Task Manager, checked again.
    - And other combinations.

    It does NOT upgrade

DISM and sfc/ scannnow do not show any error.
I have not installed ANY program. No browser, no CCleaner, nothing. I have not altered the OS in ANY way. I have not even run Disk Cleanup.

What else can I do besides sit and wait? Is there any meaning in waiting?

    Thank you.

    Just installed Build 10240

    hi guys,

well 10240 seems to look like the final version, since in the right under corner the build number is gone.

Anyway (for me) this is the best i have ever had so far from Microsoft.

If only the 4 corners could be used instead of 1.

Suppose we could drag something in one of the other corners on top, you hit the corner and get what you want., but you do not see it.

I do not like icons on the dekstop, do not like my taskbar to be filled like crazy either.

Still some minor faults, had my pc settings on the taskbar, but now it is no longer usable. Not really a problem, but i cannot delete it. Strange.

    Hi there

Have you logged in with an Ms account -- it wont update from a LOCAL account. In Updates you should see that you are able to receive insider builds.

Now leave the computer connected to the Internet for about 3 hours and then come back and check updates.

    Cheers

Correction, when going to the (much hated Start Screen) when and hitting the left upper corner one gets settings. Right mouse click and voilà the shortcut is gone.

Strange one hitting the settings with the left key, i get nothing.

So could not use shortcut, but cannot use Settings either....When pinning the Settings to the taskbar again, still nothing.

Yes, I am logged in with my MS Insider account since the clean installation of the 10162 build, more than 30 (thirty) hours ago. I've switched to my MS account right after installation of the drivers, and immediately I have verified it, too. This happened like 35 hours ago.

Few minutes ago I've changed my Region to "United States" and checked again. It did not help.

I will give it a total of 50 (fifty) hours since the clean install and I will stay in this OS and use it as much as I can, even though I cannot do almost anything because I do not have ANY of my regular programs, or any other programs, installed. Not even Office!

I hate it to be negative but something tells me that it will NOT upgrade....................
And this is NOT my fault!

PS: this is what I see since installation

    ok, back again....

Is anyone able to enter PC SETTINGS?

I cannot, even better, yesterday i was forced to sign in with my M.S. account in order to get the download of the latest build.

Now i cannot sign-off to get back to my local account, which i prefer.

    Anyone with ideas?

    Thanks

    Jeff

    ps

it seems i cannot alter much, when going to screen 2 (Start), i cannot hit PEOPLE, NEWS, anything from MS. So right now i am stuck.

    Any help would be nice

Joanne try changing Insider Builds to slow, restart computer and change it back to fast, restart computer and try updating again.
If that does not work try clicking on "Choose how updates are delivered" the blue one, not the top one to see what options are available.
