If you don't need anything out of it, go ahead use Disk cleanup.

Does anybody have a link to a trusted iso? If so please pm me.

Updating from 166 to 240 something went wrong and goofed 166. Start menu would disappear almost immediately after opening it. The 240 update disappeared from the update page and said no updates available. I tried a clean reinstall of 166 but it will not complete. Critical error with Cortana and start menu and it can't fix it. Not sure why this is happening. Basically I'm stuck with a 166 iso that won't work anymore and no Win 10 at all. There's not an iso available for PC's on the insider download site.

Thanks if you can help me,
    Jim

microsoft is not providing iso for a reason.

because they want people only to upgrade using windows update.

and clean install will not activate.

    however.

you should be able to fix any problems using windows 10 refresh options.

1st option. removes all files but leaves your personal files.

2nd option. removes everything on the drive. "WARNING!! might also clear any other harddisk as well"

You can very easily perform an upgrade from an ISO. I did it today from 10166 to 10240 and I had zero issues.

    10240/16 = 640, that means it's final version.

All finished versions of windows are always divisible cleanly by 16 and result is even number.
