Yes I am activated with 10240. But you said you did clean install of 10166 this morning. It activated? No key required? Then you did upgrade to10240. Is that correct?
I did a clean install, used the key so it activated and then upgraded to 10240 and it was activated when done. I used an ISO for the upgrade process.

So you can still activate past versions, which I understood were suspended. Good. Thanks.

I got 10166 to activate today but I don't know if you'll be able to do that for long.

Windows 10 Enterprise build 10240 activation

Hi all! I have been reading through the forums for the past couple days after installing the Windows 10 Enterprise TP 10074 on a laptop here at work. I ran through the activation and setup of a MS account on that build and then ran Windows updates. This updated the build from 10074 to 10166, which at the time did not transfer the activation. I was able to get 10166 to activate, thanks to the forums. 10166 was activated and was functioning perfectly, checked the registry for TH1- it was there, got the 10240 update from Windows update, had no problems with the update process it went great. My problem now is that 10240 build of Windows 10 Enterprise wont activate. 10166 was activated when I did the update. So by all means 10240 should have been activated upon first boot. It was not. And I have not been able to get it to activate. Any thoughts suggestions?

Thanks. Maybe I had best leave well enough alone. I made an ISO of 10240 but better not temp fate and try going back to 10166 then to ISO of 10240.

Pro and Enterprise are two different animals as far as activation is concerned

10166 still should activated because that was the last iso available. However, one of news sites is offering isos images for 10240 both x86 and 64 bit via Google Drive.
