anyone knows when 10240 build expires for insider preview ?
When they send us another build? :) Actually, I don't think it will expire, since everyone who upgraded got 10240 too.

From what I've seen, 10240 is now the official "final" release for all those who aren't Insiders, as well as those who are.

But I think for insider builds, eventually a new build will replace 10240 MUCH sooner than non-insiders would get it.

I think, rather than a new build, we will get enhancements and add-ons for various and sundry components. Much still has to be done to fulfill the Edge browser promise, for example.

Yes, the insider's will still be the test bed for all the new feature's before being released to the public.
We will still be able to send in feedback also.

Edge has slowly improved over the various builds but still not ready for prime time. Microsoft made a big pitch about Spartan/Edge which raised my hopes - perhaps overly so! What will bring me to Edge and not over the edge are improvements concerning favorites and plug-ins.

Tentatively scheduled for October, some of those additions will include a new Messaging app to provide Skype integration and extensions support for the Microsoft Edge browser.

Windows 10 testers will start to receive new builds shortly, with the ability to test new features like Microsoft Edge extension support before it's available more broadly later this year.

That's what I'm waiting for - extension support.

my first calculator cost $5,000.00, two carriages thousands of gears, the motor was the only electric component...took HOURS to do certain engineering problems, essentially the sort of stuff a phone keypad thingie can do in no perceived elapsed time...

Both (Insider, iso upgrade not insider) substantially updated 8/5.2015 same update; I agree build may well be tested on insiders first, but it does not appear that that is what MS is doing now, with things less than a major build change.

Just noticed that my pinch-zoom function is not working on my laptop screen. Not sure when it stop working. Can't find where I can enable or disable touch screen function. Now when I pinch zoom it starts highlighting words. Other gestures still work. Anyone have this problem?

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but click on the little text balloon at the bottom right, then on Tablet Mode and see if that helps.
