To the people who posted in regard to my Live_Tile_Mail_app problem : thank you, people, but I have already posted my "conclusion-result" five hours ago; it is the in the quote, above.

What happened is that I have finally managed to uninstall the Mail app using a method given by another user. I then re-installed it and the result is that the live tile of the Mail app sometimes works, others it does not. The Mail app, itself, works flawlessly all the time. It is the live tile that it is not so... live in my system.

Finally, in this Technical Preview, as well as in all the previous ones but also in all the future ones, I am not using any kind of sensitive personal or other important information, neither am I performing any kind or serious actions like e-banking etc. For these I still have my main OS, Windows 7 64 Home Premium.

Thank you for posting all this information, though, because you might help another person who needs it.

I would like to ask a question : - How is the time displayed on your logon (or lock) screen? In a 12H format or in a 24H format? Does it show "AM" and/or "PM"?

Yes, mine works perfectly. I see snippets of my mail in the tile.

Did they remove Windows Photo Viewer in this latest build from 10162 > 10166 ? I can't open .png or .jpg files anymore in Windows Photo Viewer. I'm forced to used the PHOTOS crAPP now ....

Anyone?

Ok then the upgrade from 10162 to 10166 totally messed up my system, from corrupted app store to not being able to open photos now. I'm resetting it now, if not, I'm going to opt for a clean install if I find an x86 ISO of 10166

After rebooting and shutting down the computer, for several times, I still have the same problem :

- Almost on each reboot or shut down the "DDE Server Window" and another unspecified program is preventing my computer from proceeding to the selected action. After approx. 2-3 seconds it proceeds, so it restarts or shuts down, respectively.

With "unspecified" program I mean that it does not show me the name of the program. The "DDE Server Window" name shows but the other program's name does not show.

Anything else I could do?

your autoendtasks doesn't look like you have the correct value. i would advise you go and make sure you added each one i specified, and then make sure each one of them is set to 2000. autoendtasks has a 1 next to it. hope this helps.
