See I want the same image on all three. They forgot to put some options for syncing or not of this stuff.

Go to Settings>Accounts>Sync your settings. If you have a MS acct. and are logged in on the machines you want and the settings checked, they will all sync.

That's the beauty of the system.

Well have been using it a bit now and yes it is fast but I am not sure I like not getting notified by email of replies to my posts (if any are needed) and attaching pics etc seems to be quite convoluted unless I am missing something because 7 one just had to click on attachments??

last night my machine restarted suddenly, and went through a big update, then it appeared to be loading a new build, with the whole "hi" thing, and we're setting things up... but when it was all done, it was still 10162. has anyone else experienced anything like that ? that is the first unusual thing that i have experienced with this build.

Being notified via email is a setting you can adjust in your user cp of the board settings and your os would only have an effect if your mail settings were marking your emails from here as spam/junk.

There are three ways to post photos on a message board. Either through the "Insert Image" icon or just copy and pasting from the web in line. Attachments are board specific and you can do it that way too, but they tend to be cumbersome and are used for other file types like documents or if you wanted to post a zip, pdf, etc. They are also only viewable by board members. So, I like the drag/drop, copy/paste method as it's much easier.

Haven't had that problem, but I do notice that Skype will not close. Close Window and Quit Skype do nothing.

i just opened and closed skype a few times, to see if i have the same problem. but it opened and closed without problems.

that reload is the only thing that has happened since loading 10162, that wasn't proper. i don't have any of the other problems listed by many posters on here. i thought a new build had been released while it was going back through the setup process, but after it finished it was still 10162. so i'm not sure why it did it, but there doesn't seem to be any ill effects from it. everything i have tested since, is working well. just a weird thing i guess.

Has the option to select fast or slow ring vanished in this build?
It no longer exists on my setup.

Hmmmm. On all previous builds the option was there, for some reason it's gone awol on my machine with build 10162.
