I don't know your definition of safe but it's like any other download site. All you get is the ISO that you are after for.

@badrobot That was the first link I tried, after installing the browser add on in FF and confirming/restarting FF I am again asked to install the add on then I clicked the "don't show this message again box".

On the next Screen I can see the download but then get a new message with "a file over 1 GB cannot be downloaded with this extension not enough memory".

That's wierd. I didn't have to install any add-on or get any pop-up. Just that page and then download thru browser.. done.

After trying various methods mentioned in previous posts it's a good thing I had a Macrium Image of build 10159, after restoring that image I am now getting the 10162 update.

Been at work and saw the post but I'm stuck on 0% download. I figured it would be running faster by now.

Maybe the MS servers started the long weekend early.

    I'll keep the faith.....

I think you finally hit it on the head, Roger! Windows 10 Build 10162 has to be installed before it'll show you the install.esd. There is a way to get it before installation gets too far, but I'd rather let Windows 10 upgrade so I can check it out awhile before going for the clean install. Besides, I'd probably miss the ideal place to grab install.esd anyway! :)
    I had the install.esd before I installed build 10162.

Open Task Manager and click More if there aren't tabs across the top. Click on the Services Tab and click on the Name tab to alphabetize the list. Now scroll down to and right click on wauserv. Select Restart and wauserv should restart; if it doesn't, click on Restart again and that should make it tell you it's running. Give it some time between the first and second click.

    Yeay!

I just noticed that I am receiving the 'fbl_impressive Professional 10162' build...only took 13 minutes too. Thank you Fiber :) I noticed there will be an additional build(s) per the tracking site (10164).....perhaps that will be the RTM...

For all those who are wondering about the unofficial ISO versions, I downloaded the build 10159 64-Bit ISO from the Guru3D forums the other day. I was going to wipe my drive and install a fresh copy as I had 10147 installed at it wasn't download updates or remaining in the 'fast' build retrieval option, however, just for kicks, I opened the ISO file from within Windows Explorer (not even extracting it) and ran 'Setup' and it started to download updates and low and behold WORKED. I mean it re-booted and remained in 'fast' mode and just started downloading the 10162 release....amazing.

Thus I can verify that particular .10159 ISO from Guru3d WORKS!

Whoa, I wouldn't have figured that out in a million years.

Download complete, and now it's waiting on me to click RESTART.

    Thanks a bunch!!
