Will Office be similar to the release of Windows in terms of getting free upgrades for certain situations?

    Hi there

Currently if you uninstall and then re-install again and enter the serial nr from the web site the clock is re-set to 120 days again !!! - Use ENTER product number rather than logon (to Office 2016) with an Ms account when prompted for activation..

Move all emails etc to users-->documents-->outlook files-->outlook.pst before uninstalling. You can then re-import those again after setting up Outlook 2016 again.

    "Cheeky" aren't I. !!!!

    Cheers

    Question.
I have office 2013. When 2016 comes out, will I have to repurchase it if I want to get it?

    Hi there

Probably you'll get a discount on an UPGRADE. For me I HATED Office 2013 --stuck with Office 2010 until the trial of 2016 came out which I'll probably get when it's released as a "purchasable" product. I have ZERO interest in Office 365 type of subscriptions.

Any remarks about Publisher 2016? 2013 was a disaster! It was so slow a turtle could make faster progress. I'm using 2010 right now.

Of course. No free upgrades with Office - that's Microsoft's money maker!

Never heard of an upgrade for Office and I go back to Office '97. I've used 2003, 2007, 2010 (which I went back to ) and 2013 (Publisher is a piece of crap in that edition). Fortunately, I don't have to pay for mine since I teach Office and use it for my computer clubs newsletter. The club supplies me with my copy.

Have a problem restarting Outlook when going back to 2010 from 2013. Seems there was some kind of file format change when I upgraded and now it won't let me go back and set up Outlook 2010. Went back to using Windows Live Mail. Too much of a hassle trying to fix Outlook.
