    Just wanted to let you know and thank you for your expertise, effort and work on the tutorials. Made an ISO of 10159 successfully with your new script. I used to think I was a bit of a geek but, man, you take the cake!

    Not long.. unless it's 100% certain that we can go from the Preview to the GA then I don't need to reinstall WIn8.1. My understanding is that you can't do that.
    @BunnyJ

    You can if your original install was upgraded from either windows 7 or windows 8.1 to windows 10 preview. Clean install of the windows 10 you can't. Just remember to opt out of the insider program after rtm is installed, so you wont get new pre-release builds

    Yeah, we had a few moments when we thought so, but that hope seems to be gone. Sigh . . . I'd rather update from the last clean installed build than from Windows 7 or 8.1.

    Where ya been, Groze!

    I haven't upgraded from Windows 7 or 8.1. Windows 8.1 is sitting on its own partition of two laptops and this desktop.

    Anyhoo, since I'm going to stay on the Windows Insider Program, I guess I'll just have my Tech Preview partition and my upgraded partition.

    Yup.. it's a shame but since we have to go that way the sooner I move back to Win8.1 before the 29th the better I guess. sigh.

    'At's OK, ferrets and cats get along great! They even eat from the same food bowl. :) StarFerret'll have those pre-jurrasics in attack mode in no time at all. :)

    Only one feline here and he's a real cuddle bug.

    Yes, there are many brighter bulbs than I on this forum and that is why I keep coming back.

    I don't know why the update came so late for me. I had to download the 10159 ESD and did a clean install yesterday but I am just gonna go ahead and update this 10158 as a backup installation.
