Just installed 10158, just in time I was having problems with 10130 in the last couple of days especially with updates. Anyway 10158 is a lot faster and so is Edge, absolutely flying for me so far where before it was like a snail. If this is what its going to be like in the final version I'll be happy.

Are you using a Microsoft Account? If not, try that...

UK version of the build has appeared so now I'm downloading.
I'm signed in with my MSA, nothing showing for me. My Wife is updating as we speak!

hehe, running an MS account here, no problems :).

That said, for people that prefer a local account, then reverting to 10130 then updating from your local account to the newest build seems like it'll work, since 10130 doesn't care what type of account you have.

But it'll be time consuming to do that >_<

Just to get this topic away, I want to explain you something:

Only a short while ago on a tech site pretty similar than ours a fellow member gave totally false and invalid information about these user accounts in Windows 10, in a very misleading way which might have led to some of users who do absolutely not want an MS account to create one because the poster told that the account would still be a local account, just in some comical way "associated" with an MS account to get MS account services still using a local account.

Of course this is wrong. There have never been such an account, a local account with MS account services. I thought this is so wrong information it needed to be corrected, which I did.

The OP reacted quite surprisingly, claiming that I was calling him a liar and publicly embarrassing him. I explained that no, I am not saying that, I am simply correcting the clear misunderstanding. The OP went berserk, told I should be reported because correcting him (which according to him meant I was calling him a liar) was against the rules of that site.

I responded by posting a video which for once and all proved beyond a doubt that the dialog the OP had told is there really does not exist, and that kind of hybrid account in Windows is not possible. Not in a single post did I use a single negative word, I can even prove that, but for this OP it was more important that the false and invalid information he had given remains as "true" than to admit that "OK, I was wrong". The OP's response was to get even more mad.

OK, the point of the story: We who pretend to know something, and those who really know, we have a responsibility towards those who don't even pretend to know but come here to seek advice. As soon as we notice that we are wrong in any smaller or bigger thing, we have to and we have a responsibility to correct it. That's why I deleted text in an earlier post of mine as soon as I doubted the information I had given and admitted that I was wrong in this matter now, then went to test it and came back with my findings, which then started the conversation.

The important thing is not and should not be whether we sometimes embarrass ourselves, make fools of ourselves or post seemingly off topic because we want to correct and apologize. The important is that the information finally emerging is valid and correct.

According to MS, the Earth is turning the other way so we, east of Redmond have to wait for us to get at the same spot in time.
