I updated from 10130 and had an issue so I went back to 10130 and there is no update for 10158. I have just about had it with this. Did MS pull IT??
No, Gary, but lots of us are having issues with downloading and updating! My desktop updated perfectly, but the 17" laptop doesn't see fit to do the same. In fact, it won't even download, much less update.

[I don't know if this is allowed?] I have 32-bit Pro ISO created successfully; if anyone needs it pm me.

Geeks, this is just a theory I have not tested it:

The culprit in most cases when 10130 does not start looking for the upgrade is those bloody 5 updates "Pending for restart", even though they are already installed. This seems to be a 10130 issue.

What if you install an earlier build 10122 for instance or 10074 on a vm or dual boot and try to upgrade it? It should upgrade to 10158 much easier? Then grab the ESD, make an ISO and finally upgrade your 10130 with the ISO.

Theoretically thinking this should work, have not had chance to test it yet.

    Hi,
Can you access media browsers (local addresses) in Edge with this build?
    Cheers
    Hi there

    No unfortunately.

I think it will remain like this until someone has a sensible solution. The Edge browser is designed as a Universal app with enhanced security --fine but security is no good if it stops you from USING your apps. You'' have to stick with IE11 for the moment (or any alternative you like) for those types of applications.

Top image IE11, bottom one Edge. Address trying to access -- Logitech Media server (Squeezeboxserver) at localhost:9000

    Cheers

Mine has Definition Update for Windows Defender waiting for download, Kari. And, of course, fbl_impresive Professional 10158 saying it's downloading, but has been sitting at 0% since last night.

I was having this issue yesterday. However...even though my copy indicated it was activated it wasn't until I actually put in the Product Key that it detected the 10158 build.

Now I have a different problem: It won't complete and gives a fatal error related to "power_driver_state_failure". Anyone have any insight into this? A driver issue? I had this problem when trying to upgrade to 10130. The only work-around was to do a fresh install of 10130 from an ISO. However, the ISO's for 10158 aren't up yet.

Looks to me like this may be the worst build we've had as far as download and installation problems go!

    Thanks for confirmation

I might just stick with IE, don't like the idea of having to use 2 browsers depending on what I am doing, prefer everything all in one
