    No, if we don't use the on-line facilities provided we are crippling our participation in modern life.

    Just be sensible and use good passwords (long is good). Banks reimburse against fraud, anyway, and many have two factor authentication that closes up some loopholes.

    But, everyone has to make up their own minds but there are greater risks around.

    I doubt MS transfers encrypted information....

    Hi there

    easier way to save favourites

    Import them to IE and then save from IE as a file. Then you can easily re-import again.

    You don't need to muck about with the registry.

    I used to do that. Now with the SYNC feature, any time I save a new favorite on one PC its automatically saved on my others. On a clean install its all synced back automatically. Good tip though if your still running Windows 7.
