I'm just going to find out how it is really going to work on the 29th like everyone else. It is immaterial to me. I'll either get it free, with or without an upgrade from 7-8.1 or I won't.
I also stay with the insider program, or I won't. Not going to fret about it. It'll happen the way it happens.

This is exactly my plan. (If you can call it a plan or not!)

Just really hoping that Previewers are at least given the option to insert a 7/8 key and convert to retail/OEM final.

Here we go again, here is another tweet from Gabe.

That still leaves out the question about the insider that leave the program.

I think Gabe is either laughing his butt off because people keep asking, or he's sitting in his cellar at night polishing his rifle saying "I'LL GIVE YOU DAMN INSIDERS A PREVIEWACTIVATION!! OH YES I WILL!! "

At the end of the day we still get a free upgrade from either Win7/Win8.1 to Win10.. it's a win for just about everyone, IMO and none of us have been taken for a "ride". We all knew this was a volunteer testing program and we got to use the OS before anyone else.

I'll just use Win8.1 and upgrade to Win10.. there's no argument how that upgrade procedure will go..:)

Yeah I have Win7 OEM and an 8 retail but still....would've loved to just to not have to "format or gtfo" >_>

Oh well, we'll see what happens July 29th, but we'll def get an RTM build beforehand (pls fix taskbar auto hide)!

And Spartan is buggy in general (cant scroll until page fully loaded, HTML5 video crashes, no extensions). Win10 has a lot to do.

Yes, but he was poached by Microsoft to create the C# programming language.
