I see. This got me a little more excited to be honest, I want to see what are they hiding for us :)
I'm thinking about this new messaging since the announcement of W10 for mobile.
I have installed Skype on the 'droid tablet, but haven't set it up, since no one I know uses it yet.

I have Office 365 for Business set up on this desktop and have been using Skype for Business for the Ten Forums Chats. As I said earlier, the web app part does not play nice.

Skype works just fine on Android (I'm using it on a phone, but I don't see why should be any different on a tablet). Being the mobile OS, I don't think there is a distinction between a desktop or "universal" app. On my desktop (or laptop), I always use the desktop version of Skype, the universal (or modern or whatever) gets uninstalled right away. Perhaps, I'm not the only one with this usage habit and they are just going with the flow. Which is of course what they should do, rather than forcing something down my throat.

Do you use Skype for personal stuff, or for webcasts and such? I'm having a real problem with the web app interfering with Skype for Business.

Once the web app starts, it tells me it needs to install a plugin, but when I went into Control Panel, Category, Uninstall, I found the Plugin has been installed, but I don't find anything else indicating Skype on my computer, except for Skype for Business 2015 in All Apps.

I use neither Skype for Business, nor the web app, just the regular free Skype for desktop or the Android app (or iOS app). The only issue I ever had is that if I'm signed into Skype on several devices at the same time, I can't predict which one will ring when someone is calling me.
